Spring Cherub draws inspiration from late 19th-century Europeain ceramics, when pastoral scenes and cherubic figures were popular motifs symbolizing innocence and abdundance. The small figures–often modeled after classical cherubs—were meant to reflect themes of love, harvest, and the fleeting beauty of youth. Vessels like this were typically displayed in parlors or used during special gatherings, holding sweets or treasured items. Hand-painted details gave each piece a slightly unique character.

Over time, these ornate designs fell out of everyday use but remained cherished for their storytelling quality. It stands as a small reminder of a time when even everyday objects were made to feel poetic.

This vessel  holds approximately 21.5 ounces of hand-poured wax, carrying the scent Citrus Driftwood.
